Dr Elizabeth Gillett HPC Reg.; AFBPsS.; C. Psychol.; Clin.Psy.D.; M.Sc.; B.Sc. (Hons)
Dr Gillett is a Registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health Professions Council, a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. Dr Gillett holds additional qualifications in Organisational Psychology and Certificates in Occupational Testing, Level A and B. Dr Gillett is also a Registered Clinical Psychologist in Botswana, where she leads a year-round charitable project working with vulnerable children and families in areas of social deprivation.
Medico-Legal
Dr Gillett is a pracitising expert witness within family proceedings across England and Wales and has provided evidence, both written and verbal to all levels of proceedings, from the Family Proceedings Court to the High Court. In 2009 Dr Gillett became the Ministerally-Apppointed Child Mental Health specialist on the National Family Justice Council, a non-statutory advisory, non departmental public body sponsored by the Ministry of Justice. Dr Gillett also sits on both the ‘Warwickshire and Coventry’ and ‘West Midlands’ Family Justice Councils.
Clinical
Dr Gillett has held clinical and management positions within the public and voluntary sectors for over 13 years. Currently she practices as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist specialising in working with children and families with complex presentations including those where one or more family members have difficulties such as a disability, mental health problem and / or pervasive developmental disorder. Over the years Dr Gillett has developed special interests and expertise in ‘Looked After Children’, Children with Learning Disabilities and those within Family Court Proceedings.
Previously Dr Gillett was a senior clinician in NHS services for People with Learning Disabilities and Child and Family services across the Midlands as well as having worked at a national level with MENCAP in a training capacity and as a therapuetic residential social worker in a therapuetic community for children with severe emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Dr Gillett’s current clinical work includes input and consultancy into specialist residential services for children and young people with complex needs; psychological assessment and treatment for ‘Looked After children’ via statutory services; specialist supervision to clinicians employed within the NHS / independent sector relating to children and young people with learning disabilities; and therapeutic work with individual children and families.
Training & Consultancy
Dr Gillett is a tutor on the University of Birmingham and Universities of Warwick and Coventry Doctoral / Masters programmes for professional psychological training. Other professional interests include being the Chair of Panel for a Warwickshire based Specialist Fostering Agency; offering training to other professionals (both legal and non legal e.g. ALC, Resolution) regarding Expert Witness work in Family Proceedings.
Publications & Presentations
Dr Gillett's publications have included work on organisational culture in residential care units, at present she is in the process of completing a book on instructing psychologists in family proceedings and working in collaboration with Resolution in disseminating psychological knowledge to legal professionals.
Dr Jeremy Tudway HPC Reg., AFBPsS.; C. Psychol. (Clin. Foren); Clin.Psy.D.; B.Sc. (Hons)
Dr Tudway is recognised as a national specialist in his field and has been invited to speak at International Conferences in regard to his work and has held senior clinical and management positions within the public and independent sectors. Whilst he continues to work therapeutically with offenders he also works with non-offenders presenting with complex problems. Clinically his work experience has focused on mentally disordered offenders and forensic issues although he has also worked with other client groups of adults with mental health problems and learning disabilities. Dr Tudway is a tutor in psychological therapy at the University of Warwick and continues to contribute as a tutor on the University of Birmingham Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology and at the Centre for Forensic & Family Psychology and a Visiting Lecturer in Forensic Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University. Until 2010 he served as an external examiner in Clinical Psychology at the University of Exeter. A psychologist with a wide range skills and knowledge base, Dr Tudway has published widely and is currently working on a new book on Person-Centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Medico-Legal
Dr Tudway has been engaged in expert witness work for over 15 years and has provided evidence directly to the court. Most of these cases have been within the criminal, mental health or family law system, although this has included other legal procedures (e.g. personal injury).
Clinical
Dr Tudway is a Registered Psychologist with the Health Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist specialising in both Clinical and Forensic psychology, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and a member of the British Association of Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapists. In addition Dr Tudway was previously a national executive committee member for the Division of Clinical Psychology, Faculty for Forensic Clinical Psychology. Dr Tudway has extensive senior management experience including within all aspects of security across a range of forensic services. In addition, he has worked as a senior lecturer in Clinical and Forensic Psychology and has supervised research to Doctoral and Master's level.

Dr Victoria Lloyd is a Registered Psychologist with the Health Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist specialising in clinical psychology. She is a member of the British Psychological Society.
Dr Lloyd completed her Clinical Psychology doctorate in 2005, conducting her research into the impact of dementia on the lives of people with Down syndrome. Prior to this Dr Lloyd completed a research doctorate at the University of Aston exploring individual differences in dietary preference for and intake of fat-containing foods and also worked as an honorary tutor on the undergraduate Human Psychology programme.
Medico-Legal
Dr Lloyd has been undertaking expert witness work for two years and has provided oral evidence to the court on reports she has completed. Most of these cases have been within the private or public family law system, or other legal procedures (e.g. personal injury).
Clinical
Dr Lloyd has held clinical positions within the public and voluntary sectors prior to joining PPS, working therapeutically with children, adults and families.
Dr Lloyd’s clinical experience has included working with children and adolescents, people with learning disabilities and those experiencing relationship difficulties. Dr Lloyd has also worked with older adults, people with dementia, adults with mental health difficulties and within an oncology and palliative care service. Dr Lloyd has provided specialist psychological training to mental health workers in the public and independent sectors and has also designed and produced an e-learning training package for caregivers of people with learning disabilities and dementia.
Training & Consultancy
Dr Lloyd has offered psychological consultancy and training on a range of topics relating to psychological assessment and processes. Areas of specialist interest include psychological difficulties in adolescents, dementia, learning disabilities and the impact of and recovery from domestic abuse. Dr Lloyd also provides specialist therapeutic input into a Looked-After Children’s service, working individually with looked-after children and providing support and consultancy for carers and those within the wider system (e.g. school).

Ms Jackie Chambers
Prior to working with us Ms Chambers has worked in the NHS Psychological Services in Coventry; first as an Administrator in the Adult Psychology Service and then as a Secretary in the Learning Disability and finally as the Administrative Supervisor for the Psychological Services.
Ms Chambers joined Phoenix Psychological Services in January 2008 as an Administrator and then progressed to become Office Manager in 2010.
Ms Karen Carroll
Ms Carroll joined Phoenix Psychological Serives in May 2010 and was previously employed as a Customer Services Administrator at the Law Society.
Before working at the Law Society Ms Carroll worked for Warwick District Council as a Customer Support Officer/Receptionist in the Housing Department and as a Secretary/Receptionist for the Mental Health Services for South Warwickshire NHS Trust in Community Centres in Kenilworth and Leamington Spa.
