We offer specialist services for children who have been adopted, fostered or live in kinship care that can be commissioned by Local Authorities, organisations or can be paid for by the Adoption Support Fund. We also provide support for families with children on the edge of being taken into care because of concerns about safety and help when children are returning home from care.
With Children And Families
We specialise in supporting parents and carers provide relationships that help their children deal with trauma, loss and feel secure within their family. We also work directly with children and young people in therapy.
With Teams And Organisations
We have excellent relationships with local services for Looked After Children and fostering teams and we are currently working closely with Adoption Central England to help them develop their service. We also support residential homes. We specialise in supporting organisations and teams manage complex work, become more informed by trauma and to create cultures that support staff’s capacity for building connection and reflection.
With Professionals
We provide clinical supervision for other therapists and people working with looked after and adopted children.
With Schools
Our bespoke training for schools in attachment, trauma and play-based interventions consistently receives excellent feedback and we offer ongoing supervision or consultation to help embed this. We provide training to nursery schools all the way up to higher education.
