Jason is a registered Clinical Psychologist who specialises in work with looked after and adopted children and young people, and their families.  Jason provides a range of therapeutic interventions for children with attachment difficulties, developmental trauma and mental health issues.  Alongside this Jason provides psychological and attachment informed consultations & support to foster carers, adoptive parents and professionals.  Jason has undertaken additional training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and offers DDP informed interventions.

Jason has attended specialist training as an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist which allows him to deliver EMDR interventions and integrate EMDR techniques into his wider practice.

Jason has worked in the field of clinical psychology since 2011 initially specialising in Paediatric Psychology.  After he graduated from Edinburgh University in 2012 he continued to work with children and families within a specialist Children’s hospital in Glasgow.  He is accredited to deliver parenting programmes including Mellow Parenting and the Incredible Years.  Jason trained as a Clinical Psychologist at the University of Birmingham in 2013 and has conducted research exploring the peer relationships of children who have been adopted.
